Integration and interfaces

 

Depending on the individual customer solution the video management system can be a superordinated or a subordinated system.

 

Being a superordinated system it must be able to show the operator all subsystem informations (be it burglar alarm or access control systems) and to interface interactively to the video solution.

 

As a subordinated system it must fully integrate in the existing operator interface to support operating processes.

 

These interfaces can be realized via OPC / Host in the same way as proprietary interfaces to less common systems.

Application modules from third party suppliers (e.g. license plate identification, biometric applications) must be integrated in the video management system, too. Their intended level of integration results from the concrete project definition.
