Funkwerk, the long-established company based in Nuremberg (Bavaria), installs video system for the nuclear power plant in Unterweser – digital network concept of lasting conviction – Video management system p.o.s.a. called into action

Nuremberg, 29.02.2012 - End of 2011 Funkwerk video systeme GmbH, German manufacturer of high-end security solutions, successfully finalized modernization of the video monitoring system at the Unterweser nuclear power plant. The standing customer decided in favor of a modular video server system based on digital network technology with full redundancy of all digital components. “Taken as a whole, the comprehensive modernization project at the Unterweser power plant took almost 3 years”, explains Norbert Meissner, Funkwerk CEO. “Our digital network concept and full redundancy of all digital components tipped the scales for the award of this sophisticated project.”
